Visionary Leader in Global Adaptation

We are thrilled to welcome Adrian to the Edisen family, a distinguished professional with an unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence. Adrian brings a wealth of expertise and a vision for pushing the boundaries of global adaptation to our dynamic team.

Let's get to know him better.

What motivated you to join our company?

Prior to joining Edisen, I had followed and admired Chimney and their many successes over the years. Following the merger, Edisen stood out as one to watch. Edisen’s creative pedigree combined with the power of in-house technology and AI was an exciting prospect and one which I wanted to be a part of.

With my background in global adaptation, this was an opportunity to be part of a unique and more importantly, advanced offering in today’s market. Together with the roster of amazing clients, this was a chance to join and help build upon an exciting platform and move global adaptation forward to the next chapter.

Can you highlight a few key accomplishments from your previous roles?

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate enough to work with a number of excellent companies and alongside some first-rate individuals.

In my previous roles, I have built and led creative post-production and scaled production teams delivering moving image, print and digital assets for some of the biggest global brands, including Unilever, BMW/MINI, AB InBev, Adidas and DIAGEO.

More recently I built the global adaptation team for BMW and MINI which spanned 12 countries and delivered 360 campaigns across 26 EMEA markets in 28 languages.

But of all, I am most proud of the teams I have built and worked with throughout my career and the volume and quality of content we delivered over that time. That is what I want to replicate here at Edisen.

What are your primary responsibilities in your new role with us?

As Strategic Solutions Director, my new role, will include a variety of responsibilities to further grow our adaptations offering on a global scale.

Working closely with our current clients on current and future scope and solve their existing production inefficiencies through our technology.

Partnering with the platform development team and feeding back to understand and meet market needs, develop new automated solutions and ensuring our platform offering is at the core in helping shape our unique adaptation offering.

Work with our growth team to expand on new platform opportunities for existing and new clients and exceed our expected partnership standards in terms of quality, cost efficiency and speed.

And of course, to steer and grow our Global Adaptations Delivery team throughout this exciting chapter. I am excited about the scope of this role and eager to bring my skill set to the wider team.

How do you plan to contribute to the company's success?

I am joining Edisen at a very exciting time, a new era of global adaptation in which our technology allows for a unique proposition for brands in today’s environment - creativity, flexibility, speed and control at scale.

I am looking forward to building on the existing success and growing the adaptation offering, powered by the platform, out for our current and future clients.

I am a highly motivated team leader with a track record of creating strong cohesive teams that are passionate about achieving the collective goal. One of my key skills is building good relationships with and between my team members who know that they will have my full support throughout the process. I believe that respect is earned rather than expected.

Outside of work, what are your interests and hobbies?

I have always been a huge fan of the outdoors and I am always keen to try new disciplines. Growing up in South America I enjoyed hiking, camping and abseiling. Now based in Amsterdam, I have taken up paddle boarding and paddle tennis. If you haven’t tried paddle tennis I highly recommend it!

I am an avid football and rugby fan and for many years was an annual ticket holder for Harlequins. I love travelling with friends and experiencing local cuisine and customs.

Do you have a favorite book, podcast, or TED Talk that has inspired you recently?

I was introduced to the podcast ‘How I Built This,’ in which the presenter Guy Raz interviews some of the world’s best-known entrepreneurs about how they produced their ideas and built some of the world’s most iconic brands.

Recently I listened to an episode with Luis Von Ahn, the inventor of CAPTCHA (you may not recognize the name, but we have all used it) and Duolingo. Through a moment of serendipity, he attended a lecture that led him to solve what was then one of Yahoo’s and the web’s biggest problems, worked out a way to digitize the entire New York Times archives and eventually created Duolingo. This episode, as well as all the others, provides a fascinating journey and insight into innovation and leadership.
